John Riccitiello Talks about EA’s Digital Strategy



Well we all know that EA has plans to Switch to Digital in the (near) future, and most of their games already are Digital only.   Following yesterday’s release of EA’s first quarter earnings,  John Riccitiello participated in an interview on CNBC’s Squawk On The Street.

Towards the end of the video, you will listen to Riccitiello speak about how well their Digital strategy is playing out and their plans to expand their earnings in digital.  This video may not be of any importantce to most of you, but it is something many of you may want to see.

There is also mention about The Sims Social (coming in the near future) and how they expect to make a good profit off it being added to the number of games they already carry Socially.  Even though the game is free, on average their social players spend $56.  Nothing in life is free, especially when it’s given to you at hand. Don’t forget those fancy items you can only buy with Facebook credits!
