It should be noted that this mod doesn’t do what it says it does. There’s no way to control how many zombies spawn as the game only spawns 1 if it decides to do so based on the chance value. The number that says how many is how many residents in the town the lunar cycle turns. Only the chance tuning value alters the random spawning ones which are homeless sims.

    …i … NEED … this

  3. Mychro5 says:

Well imvglad I don’t need this, I don’t get a lot of zombies. I get like maybe 2 or 3 every full moon, but it’s no biggie for me. But I have heard of some simmers getting overload with zombies. Yikes!!?

    • Harry says:

Yeah I have a strange glitch where I get tones of Zombies all day every day even on the new moon.
It is annoying but I just ignore them

      • Max Q Baker says:

I have that glitch too in a previously existing Sunset Valley game I play (I started a new Monnlit Falls game and discovered it does NOT happen there. Odd stuff.) But I like gardening, so it becomes a full time job trying to protect my plants with all those zombies all the time (I even set it to only one moon phase which was not full, and still tons of zombies all the time). PLus, if I am in a world which is just not Supernatural based at all, it seems dumb to have zombies ever, unless I explicitly want them. Can’t imagine what they were thinking not letting us turn them off entirely.

  4. SF says:

What a wounderful mod, I haven received my Supernatural ep yet but i do not want zobies brr.

I will for sure use it

  5. nina97 says:

Thank you I will try this

  6. MonaD says:

I might try this too. I have zombies everywhere, the gym, lounge, even ordering food at the tavern. It was funny for a while, but enough lol

  7. Alovett says:

To control zombie population all you have to do is enter testingcheatsenabled true then shift click on the mailbox and you can control any supernatural population! Hope this helps a few people! (:

  8. Mirza says:

You know if you use testingcheatsenabled true and then shift click your mailbox and then their will be a new interaction called population control, click it and it should say either add supernatural or remove supernatural, then click remove supernatural and then it should list the Supernaturals and then click zombies(it will say Zombies!!!) then the zombies will be removed from your town.

  9. Geminia says:

According to crinrict the glitch happens if you save during a full moon night. So simply avoiding saving during full moon will keep you save from zombie apocalypse. If you have saved already during full moon and are experiencing this glitch the cheat mentioned by Mirza will solve the problem

    • Yupyuyip says:

True, true, when I first started playing the game I saved it during a full moon and the zombie apocalypse did not stop. When I re-started again in moonlight falls, the zombie spawning stopped after I did not save the game during a full moon. SimGuruHydra gave the tip:

      “Hi Simmers,

We’ve been reading your feedback on the zombie invasions and have some tips to help you:
      1. Turn off the full moon in the Lunar Cycle
      2. Avoid saving your game during a full moon (between 5PM to 8PM the night of a full moon)
      3. You can also try the tip mentioned in the Supernatural Hints & Tips blog post (if you haven’t already):

In the meantime, we are looking into a fix to alleviate the extra zombie spawns if you saved your game during a full moon.”

Also you can now fix the issue using Twallan’s Overwatch V71.

      • Mitsu says:

I did save during a full moon yesterday, and when I played the game early today, I got zombies spawning all over the place (day and night and not even on full moon!) that removed zombies bit via the mailbox did not help at all, all it does is release the zombie state the Sims are in and they go back home, but more continue spawning.

I really wanted the zombies to appear in my game, just not this much, and especially every night. Had the zombies appeared on a full moon about 2-3 of them, and actually did something rather than standing around and complaining that they are tired or hungry would have made zombies better for me.

  10. Warner says:

did anyone try to supernatural testing cheat that allows you to remove zombies from your nhood? I am having glitches with the moon cycle where it is set to cycle but it wont.

    • Max Q Baker says:

That was one of the first things I tried (the mailbox cheat. It gets rid of zombies in the town at the moment, but it took almost no time for the apocalypse to respawn.) Also, I don’t believe I saved the game during the full moon cycle. In fact, I opened up my existing game, and they just started up; popping up out of the ground everywhere.

Let me ask you, guys: I have a teenager Sim. She’s a witch. But the romantic interactions simply disappeared! I took all my mods out and tested my game without these things, but the same happened. No romantic interactions! Did anyone have the same problem? Can anyone tell me, please? Thanks!

    • pilouuuu says:

I have the feeling they changed the way interactions work and made it more similar to The Sims 2. Now, you only start having romantic interactions when two sims know each other a bit. I felt it’s much harder to become frineds or a romantic interest now. Can anyone confirm this?

  12. Amy says:

Blue at Sims Asylum made a no zombies mod as soon as the patch was released and hers works – no zombies at all in the game I tested.

And trust me, I was all ready to send Supernatural back I was so disgusted with everything I was reading. So far my game is fine, but I’m sad because Buzzler can’t update his mods yet due to computer issues.
