As we reported back on December 15th, the Sims2.com website will be closing up shop for good. If there is anything you need to download and save from the site, this is your final chance to do so.

The past few years have been a bumpy ride for the Sims 2 website, and today, Rincon Del Simmer has discovered a farewell note from The Sims team. On January 14, 2013, the entire Sims 2 website will be gone forever. This includes exchange items, patches, blogs, and so on.

For those who may need them, patches for The Sims 2 games can be found here. If there is anything else you want to save from the Sims 2 website, make sure to do that soon.
