So over on the main news page of SimsVIP they've just posted that a guru may have hinted the possibility of restaurants in the next game pack? I, as well as I'm sure many others have been wanting restaurants since Get To Work was released, restaurants play such a huge role in our sim's stories that we create, as well as adding loads more game play interactions. And in the first time since DLC releases I'm keeping my fingers crossed for restaurants. If we get restaurants then it would be the icing on the cake since we already have the ability to open and run our own cafes and bakeries... just as long as restaurants were more complex in the creating and operating aspects. Hopefully, instead of our sims having the ability to open their own restaurant we will be able to fully customize restaurants to their fullest potential, BUT... our sims went to work at the restaurant in an all new active culinary career instead of expanding the retail system of the game. I want to have the ability to build and customize my restaurants the way I want them to look and operate. I also want to have the options to send sims to my restaurants to socialize, grab a bite, and interact with those surroundings. As well as the option to "buy restaurant" or "own restaurant" but with a new system that was specifically designed for restaurants only. And I know this is totally off topic of my post about the speculation of restaurants being the next game pack, but I would love if all future game packs were themed to venues. Say for example... game packs themed to bowling alleys, casinos, cinemas, beauty salons, cemeteries and grocery stores. I really think game packs would be more popular amongst the fans and would add tons more game play interactions, as well as vibrant and enhanced environments. Now all we need is World Packs for $4.99 USD that gave us new vibrant empty worlds.
