It has come to my attention that many are confusing console with PC when it comes to Pets. SimsVIP is only covering PC, and not console versions.   To clarify, I asked SimGuruShannon to give me a list of “released/announced” traits so far across each platform. Mind you that this is not a complete list, but it does give confirmation that traits are not the same across all platforms.  Traits that are crossed off are not for that platform. There is also a pet attached to each trait giving us an idea that some pets will have their own unique traits.

PC:

EA has a Live Flickr photo-stream going, and we happen to see a photo go up with the first images of Pets in Create a Sim.  Here is the image that has been put up.  I opened the largest image on flickr and took a few screens of them up close.  (a bit blurry)

Amazon has listed two versions of the Sims 3 Pets for sale on the PC/MAC platforms.  They have The Sims 3 Pets @ $39.95 and The Sims 3 Pets Special Edition @ $49.95. Does this mean the Special Edition will have extra content? Is this a different bundle?  Hopefully a photo goes up soon, along with more info.

There is also an expected release release date of October 31st, 2011 for both.  Now that is a Monday, so perhaps it’s a day off?  Not sure but we’ll have to wait and see.

One of our members Istongo has just emailed us letting us know that there are Cribs, toy chests, bookshelves, dressers etc… all very cheap (25 SP) at the Sims 3 Store. If anyone is interested in grabbing them, jump on it!

He has also mentioned to us that there is also a new filter in the Store “Expansion Pack”  Seems that they will be bringing EP content to the store!
