I do believe those are “hints”, but the thing is that I think they try to bring cohesion to all their decisions and try to make the whole game look like one whole thing. Like, in The Sims 3, they try to make all the EPs go better with one another than in previous The Sims games. So yes, we can perceive these things as hints or easter eggs, but I believe they are all there for also this reason. Plus, it makes playing even more fun if you pay attention to all these details and wonder why they are there =]

If you look in depth enough, you could say the entire LN was a hint of Showtime. point is, there is no point, as we already know it exists. Hoping for weather though. 😀

I remember when people thought a weather machine poster was a hint for weather, obviously not. of course, that EP will be so huge that they’ve probably been working on it for that long. 😀

Maybe. But there is a chipmunk on top of one of the dressers in Generations that I think hinted Pets. 😀
