EA has playtests in their California location all the time for many different games. Beta testing and playtesting are two different things. 🙂

Also, none of the beta testers leaked anything for Showtime. A bunch of nosey and impatient people went looking for information. They found it, and then released everything (it’s not like EA really hid the information anyway). Beta testers were not the fault of any leaks.

I’m putting my money on it being the new Sims City for Facebook that has been rumored. Or it may even be a quick 2 hour test for Simport and Showtime.
