So from what I understand, they will be making your Sims 3 username an Origin username, if you don’t already have one.

I’d never bothered with installing EADM, so naturally, I didn’t bother with Origin either once it came out. At the time, it was mostly laziness on my part (that, and wanting to get right to playing the game) but I’m glad I didn’t install Origin. I just hope it won’t try to force us to have Origin installed in order to play SHT. I mostly just want it for completion’s sake, and don’t care about SimPort or the social stuff (I don’t plan on using any of it) so if Origin is forced on us, I definitely won’t get it.
