I agree that the Showtime question was terribly rude. Just because some people think it was a disappointment doesn’t mean everyone thought that. It’s one of my personal favorite expansions and I love the social features that were added.

Why do they have to sparkle with that elixer?
Not everyone likes Twilight and to force people to see that horible thing in Supernatural to become immune is really irritating and Annoying.
I am just glad that is like the only stuff-up they have in this one.

Actually I love the question and I think EA could learn from its mistakes which I personally think showtime definitely was. I like that maybe there is a possibility that EA actually finally released that many players like myself don’t like strict story lines that we have to follow rather we like sandbox game play in fact that’s what makes entire sims franchise so unique. And trough games like WA, Ambitions and Showtime EA seem to lose this uniqness (I think thats how you spell it).

I just wish they didn’t spend so much resources on the social aspect and added more functionality to the game. The social aspect was really controversial and instead of that they could have had bands be able to back up a singer and made LN more integrated to Showtime.

I also hate the eye candy reward because of the sparkles, but I’m going to try it out again on the fairies. Might be cute. I’ll make sure I save right before it though, in case I hate it, LOL.

Yeah talking about options why EA didn’t make option for vampires die in sun rather than sparkle? If I see even a little sparkle, I will set that sim on fire. If I want glitering creature I will create fairies thank you EA very much….not.

That Showtime question was a bit rude. Sure it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t label the entire campaign as a ‘disappointment’.

I doubt the elixir effects are permanent for that one (unless it says so in the video; I haven’t watched xD) – it probably only gives them protection for a set amount of time. But even so, I won’t be using it on my vampires! I’ll save it for the stupid NPCs who like to fry themselves to death on a daily basis >.<

Whenever I hear that they want to give us the tools to tell our own story and that they want to give the player options, I become very happy. I think to myself they finally get it.

Sims is all about options and having the tools to shape the game the way you want and play it according to your own style.
