You know, that is something else I was wondering, if they are so swamped, why couldn’t they temporarily hire the modding community to help straighten out the game quirks some? I know alot of fans would be willing to do it just to help out/fix their favorite games.

I think they are bitter over being accused by fans that they have blatantly brown-nosed EA products in the past without mentioning hangups on various games. So we get “IGN strikes back”, lol.

Still, take it with a grain of salt, no need to riot over it. and yes the game’s engine seems askew, but they’d have to totally overhaul it, and like pilouuuu said, it may be too out of hand for that.

It’d be nice if they did a relauch with a fixed engine and reissued everything to players for free up to the current game, I know I’m pipe-dreaming but it would be something and net them seriously much needed & Good PR points.

What I like about the review is that finally someone mentions the hideous Error 12. EA really needs to make something about this. But I’m afraid the game engine simply wasn’t well designed from the beginning and this is a sort of thing that can’t be totally solved now. They even have trouble solving the zombies’ glitch! Twallan mods make this more tolerable, but even then Error 12 shows up once in a while.

By the way, does anyone know about a mod not to get rid of zombies, but to make them work as expected, i.e.: just showing up on full moon nights?

But the review is simply unfair. If the game didn’t have the zombies and memory problems what score would it have obtained? 5.5?

This review contradicts with what the players and fans said. Only their opinion is important here, and not one man’s who probably doesn’t even like magic. Don’t rely on reviews.

Stupid review.
Supernatural is the best TS3 expansion so far.

Sims are not about realisam.

That’s just below their score for the abysmal Sonic ’06. Wow, Supernatural is WAY better by comparison even with those two games being completely different genres. The zombie glitches sound pretty bad but at least the game is playable.

I actually like the fact that the reviewer didn’t put aside the whole bugs and “running smooth” aspect. TS3 is getting slower and slower on my computer and it’s nowhere close to the minimal requirements. I can’t imagine what the everyday clothes tab will be like when we have 10 expansions and 10 SPs. It’s going to be HELL.

Anyway, Supernatural is a pretty good EP if it weren’t for stupid things in it’s mechanics, like the fact that you can’t turn off zombies and that you don’t see the progress your sims have made in your supernatural abilities.

I think this is the only game review site that gave SN a negative review and btw this is an amazing pack and now i”m playing ts3 for hours and hours again!!!!!!! 😀
