As far as the other hairstyles go, the shaggy male hair is too much of a combo of the British Invasion meets Prince Valiant (comic strip), and I’m not into the big beehive-type hairstyles, personally, unless it’s like Amy Winehouse-style.

I liked all the decor items a lot, except I passed on the potted plant. I bought all the other decor items though. I love, love the coffee maker the most. It looks almost exactly like one I had converted from Sims 2 from MTS, which I deleted to use this new one instead.

It is kind of odd how it’s a pseudo kitchen/dining set. I still wish we had gotten cabinets with the Mid-Century Modern kitchen set. Kitchens had cabinets then…what were they thinking?! This, overall, says to me more late Mid-Century Modern mixed with early 1970s rather than true Mid-Century Modern style.

But that’s just me.

For those of you crazy for Mid-Century Modern, and not against CC, you should really visit Sarah at Awesims, if you’ve never heard of her. Mid-Century Modern is totally her thing.

I really hope that costumes for Spooky Day are fully costumisable, so more can be included in a new set and we can include everday clothes as costumes.
