I don’t mind not having a world with this expansion pack considering that I barely play the ones that they give me XD.

I just wish you could use Sim City 5 to create world. CAW is annoying to use and learn.

I would much rather have extra other content than a world each time
We already have quite a few worlds with many more on the exchange so for me extra play and content is first choice .

I only use 2 worlds to play and rebuild so the extra effort to make the weather better seems much better than throwing in another world

I really appereciate that sim guru graham came out and explained why we wont have a new world with this expansion, and I agree that I am going to enjoy the game better this way, but, what I get from this is that EA doesn’t want to spend more money in this EP than they have to, and they don’t want to pay more for their team to create more for this EP. I think I understand them because most people want weather so badly that they will buy it anyway, so why bother and invest more if simmers get all happy for little money? maybe I’ll get it maybe I wont, but the problem with the world thing is that it is DIFFICULT as hell to create one in sims 3, unlike in sims 2, and we want more worlds because many people can’t understand Create a World Tool. And we don’t like the idea of paying a lot for something that we took for granted since sims 2. I would be very happy if they just gave us a simplified version of Create a World but most people wont. I think every person has a right to their own opinion so I wont insult others like Ive seen many times. we are not greedy, we are giving our feedback and this is our right as costumers. We pay, we get to complain if we are not completely happy.

I just have to say that this explanation is a good reason why they should have held off on the base game and included weather in it, which was apparently the original plan. Instead it was pushed away to Late Night and then abandoned until further down the track it morphed into Seasons.

Then they have to go backwards and make sure it works with all previous worlds, of which there are many because of one in each expansion (apart from Generations), as well as the five (soon to be six) from the store.

Also, there is one big team made up of different sub-teams?
Surely weather is going to work in Monte Vista? So how does this argument really hold water?

Surely they wanted, or most likely, needed, to put their energy into the weather and content and had to sacrifice the creation of a world. Surely the bean-counters knew it was more profitable to not add Sunlit Tides or Monte Vista to the pack.

If weather doesn’t “work” properly in either of these store worlds then I might trust this argument completely. Since I’m pretty sure it will be fine, I’ll just take that this is part of the explanation and the rest of it is money, which is totally out of Graham’s hands.

Regardless, they knew it would tick people off. Which is fair, since people are used to getting what they’re used to getting.

Yes, about the game that is NOT free, it is expensive.

We have the right to criticize. If we feel that the game does not offer enough to justify the price.

I actually think that it is not worth the money.
It is only weather and 4 fetivals.

There is no new town, only amall number of objects.

I will buy this only because I’am waiting for aliens since TS3 base game.

But without aliens I would not buy this.

i don’t really care about a new world i just want more family friendly homes. moonlight falls has some of the best next to appaloosa plains so far. and i can’t say anything about horses i’m still one of those who if i see anything horse my game freezes till i shut it down

It’s very nice when producers take the time to explain things technically about challenges and difficulties with the Sims 3.

Graham is definitly an okay guy in my book. I understand why there isn’t a world and I don’t get why people don’t even understand the store is a money hungray business for people who want those additional items and have the money. The ones who don’t have the money are teased and tortured by certain objects, and rightfully so. However, it is what it is. We can’t change that. I don’t think people should complain about not getting a new world when we’re getting an EPIC sims expansion pack in 3 weeks.

We got 3 store worlds and 2 ep worlds in just 10 months time. What else do you guys want? Why do we need ANOTHER WORLD.

I’m glad the team at least made a store world in mind for Seasons. If you can’t afford it right away be patient and wait for a sale. If you *REALLY* Want something you can save for it slowly over time. I’ve seen worlds for 850.

Now, I’m going to Lunar Lakes to prep for my aliens LOL

I agree, Not every EP has come with a world. This one DOES NOT NEED ONE.

You have been playing in the other worlds and custom worlds for years now watch them transform before your eyes.

If you honestly think seasons isnt worth the money with all the content it has just because it doesnt have a world someone needs to slap the piss out of you.

Its sick that people cant be happy with what they get. Look at the bright side of things. And stop thinking your entitled to anything and everything you want.

THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT! YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANYTHING. YOU PAY FOR WHAT THEY PUT YOU AND DEAL WITH IT OR DONT BUY IT. EITHER WAY STOP COMPLAINING!!!!
