I downloaded it. You still have to put ceiling tiles in to stop the snow, the fix just makes the ceiling tiles become transparent.

The plants think its an indoor room since there are ceiling tiles. Not all plants will grow indoors.

Maybe someone will bring the pieces up in TSR Workshop and change it from being Decor to being Roofing and be done with it.

Seriously, whoever created the Stones Throw Greenhouse needs to be stoned, speaking as a programmer myself. If I delivered code like this I would be fired.

But that is what those items are, Decorative Pieces that go on the roof, and they themselves are not programmed to act like a roof. It’d be like stick a bunch of statues on the top of the greenhouse instead. You get the look of a glass roof but it isn’t one, it is just Deco. I swear if they add one more non-functional deco Item to the game…, we need more Deco like we need more CHAIRS! lol.

I don’t undetrstand that whole “It’s deco” thing though…. Does anyone, anywhere, have just a decorative roof, where the ROOF is supposed to be? It would be one thing to say they were roof decoration to accentuate your roof, but to have whole sections covered as IF they ARE the roof… really?

Like it said though, The Green house roof pieces are a DECO object, not an actual roof tile, which I personaly think is stupid, they could have done just like they did in Sims 2, A Wall and Roof Mode just for Greenhouse design. And they could have done a few different styles of Greenhouse. Like the Sims 2 Version style, a Gothic Greenhouse style and a Cheap-looking Plastic Tubing and Plastic sheeting style, lol
