Okay, Since I want to enter the writing contest. Do I need to write a creative story about my Sims in a town I play in? I don’t quite understand the rules. Can someone explain… Thanks.

I don’t get how to photograph category works, do you take an actual picture (and can you take multiple) or does it have to be a screenshot of Sims?

I entered the writing one. I posted a section of a short story as my media portion, but sadly, I lost the world where I had recreated the downtown main street of the small town I was writing about, and never took pictures. I did it in the upper part of sunset valley where there is a road that ends where they place the junkyard if you have ambitions.

I doubt I will win, but cant pass up the offchance of winning a kindle paperwhite; I have a kindle keyboard, and I love it, but i want the paperwhite for the glow. As for the mac book air, I probably would find a use for it, but I tend to use pc’s.

It’s all to do with costs. Because EA is a US company it won’t cost them much (relatively speaking) to send out the prizes to winners or to fly the winner to Salt Lake. It’d be the same if EA was based in Europe (for example); you’d probably find that only European countries would be included.

Quebec is excluded because it has a mass o’ rules regarding contest entries which basically boil down to “we can control what’s won and we want 10% of the cost of the prize”. It’s a lot easier for companies to exclude Quebec than it is to deal with their rules.

Either I haven’t looked in the right area, or this is just explained poorly. I want to enter a few different categories, but I don’t understand the contest itself. If I want to enter the writing category, do I write about how Sims has inspired me someway in my life? Or do I write a creative piece about my Sims? If I want to enter a piece of artwork, do I, for example, just draw a picture having to do with Sims, or am I suppose to explain how Sims has inspired me through my artwork?
