I saw the pictures of the new playpen and baby-chair-thingy in the screenshots, but what does this mean for the romantic stuff like the shag rug, the smooth jazz radio station, and heart-shaped tub? Will we be getting those or not? I didn’t get to watch the live broadcast because my PC wouldn’t play it right, so can anyone answer me on that? That would just rock! Thanks!

Sounds good to me! I’d love my simmies to have a shag rug to relax on! I hope EA comes up with a Smooth Jazz radio station soon, too! All this stuff; the shag rug, heart-shaped tub, smooth jazz radio station, I’m surprised it didn’t make it into Master Suite SP! That’d have been great stuff for that SP, y’know? But it is good to hear that the bear rug will be functional; I’ll be disappointed if it isn’t. Now for the smooth jazz!

3 days till we get to see this premium item in action. I wonder how high it can go. I’m thinking it would have to go pretty high to get it to the relaxation station in Sunlit Tides which is on a mountain or the Lookout Place in Hidden Springs.

Will that bear rug be functional, i.e., can Sims relax on it and make out and such on it, like in Sims Bustin’ Out? Anybody remember the polar bear shag rug from that game? I hope that rug works that way, and isn’t simply deco! TS3 also NEEDS a smooth jazz station for lovemaking, just like in Bustin’ Out! That gives the romantic atmosphere just the right touch! If anyone can answer that, it’d be awesome!

To be clear, all of the screenshots are of the Sims in the air. It’s weirdness in the camera angles that are making it appear like they are on the ground (Sorry about the confusion.)

It absolutely is. You can make some really amazing looking balloons.

You can place the Hot Air Balloon on any lot with enough space. As you can imagine, the footprint isn’t trivial but you should be able to find a nice romantic location by the waterfall.
