There are three new jobs that come with the expansion pack, University, that GranMarquee mentioned.

And I think being part of the associated social groups helps with the careers, but so do majors. Maybe phys ed. for Sports Agent, Technology for Game Designer, and obv. fine art for Art Appraiser.
