Lifestates are tradition of the sims. Every expansion have them since TS1.

Expansion without lifestate would be big disappointment for alot of people.

I think plantsims, vampires, fairies,witches,werewolves are really cool and I’m looking forward to mersims!!! I think IP will be a great summer expansion pack 🙂

Honestly, I think I’m burnt out on lifestates.
We have ghosts, mummies, SimBots, Vampires, The living Dolls/IMFriends, Unicorns, Genies, Upgraded Ghosts, Revamped Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Fairies, Zombies, PlantSims, and now Mermaids….

A low brow, no frills, simple living no lifestate EP would be a nice change of pace. But that is just my opinion.

For being touted as a life simulation game the devs could have taken Sims 3 as an opportunity to create a deeply intricate and intelligent( with today’s technological restrictions of course) AI that might be talked about for years to come. I really hope the next iteration of the sims shows people how these things should be done, to the benefit of countless gamers. I guess we consumers ask for the world sometimes but a competent AI in a simulation game shouldn’t be too much to ask for..

Not the best solution but on Mod The Sims you can find a yoga mat with custom animations. It is like a rug but enables yoga, sadly though it is not transportable.

I find it extremely creepy how my Sim will go to a empty lot then everyone will show up in their vehicle lol. Ah stalkers. Yes though the towns in a way do not feel very alive and I hope they alleviate the issue with Sims 4. David you are not doing anything wrong it is just how Sims 3 is made.
