As far as tutorials for effects, google. There are a few threads at Mod the Sims covering the topic. It’s impossible or insane for someone to cover every single effect, there are literally thousands. The majority of the effects you’ll never use. People tend to use the bubble & waterfall effects predominantly. Also, you can make your very own shark tank with a swimming pool and windows. Enter “fishsharkactive” as the visual effect and you have actual sharks swimming around. You can pick any fish you want really. The new corals in the buydebug menu look brilliant & give the tank more authenticity. The sand from WA, in buydebug is also great to use.

One final word about the shark. I highly recommend downloading an item called “One More Slot Please!” From Mod the Sims. This item can be raised to any height you wish. You place the fog emitter on top of it and it disappears in Live Mode. Since the sharks swim at the same height as the fog emitter, there is no point putting the emitter on the floor. You’ll only end up with a floor shark. The final thing is the range the shark swims, I think covers a 6×6 area. So, you need to place them right in a tank big enough, otherwise they swim outside the pool/tank area and you’ll have room shark.

Another nice tank I did was with different coloured goldfish. They have a smaller swim range and so the tank doesn’t have to be huge. Just be careful and don’t go overboard with emitters. Too many and the game will lag more than t does already.
