I have never heard of a house over water having glass floors; only holes in the center of rooms to look down into the water.

You would have thought it a certainty now that Island Paradise allows you to build over water and you could have glass flooring with fish spawners underneath so that the Sims always had the glass-bottomed boat effect right in their home!
