I absolutely love to build. I actually spent most of Sims 2 building up the towns with real running business by adding new families and doing the hard work to get them to function properly so you could take your sims anywhere and do almost anything. Want to re-decorate your living room? Why not go to Pier 1 and buy some new clutter? Or stop by the furniture store and then the department store? Stop at the bakery and get some food, or maybe some new clothes at the H&M store? Visit various venues to do fun things… it was so awesome.

Fun fact: I spent so much time doing that during the Sims 2 era that I literally never saw beyond a second generation of Sims pass on. My original 1st generation of born sims are still adults with their children in my save files on my plumbob USB drive. LOL Oh the idea of reinstalling Sims 2 and playing again would be so nostalgic I’d prolly just become one of those lushes you see on TV playing video games. Or me back during the Sims 2 era. LOL

Even though I am trying to play more or less realistic current game, it still gives the Sim a much better life than reality. If only real life paid as much as Sims. Or got raises that often, or as easily…
Plus I can only dream of living in a tropical place (IP/ST) in reality 🙁
