Yeah that’s EA’s Story Progression…I use Nraas’ and is like there are other players pleying the rest of the town

I always play with high free will and story progression, I thought everyone did… and I can’t play letting my sims do everything. I don’t always have everything perfect and go according to plan in my families, but if I played like this, my sims would never gain skills, never make new friends, lose their job, and always be in a terrible mood, having no fun, peeing themselves, starving and exhausted, and filthy. And they never get married or do anything exciting on their own but play pool. I find playing this way extremely boring and can’t see myself enjoying it, as pretty much every game would be the same, unhappy, jobless sims.

Honestly I have free will on and story progression but the sims (lets say the siblings of the sim I’m playing) never do anything on their own. They don’t gain skills, get jobs or have babies (sometimes they develop their own romances). I would love to have my neighborhood function on its on. Also my sims are too dumb to do anything on their own. They’re always hungry and peeing on themselves at parties without my help. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

I love just watching them. There are so many moments I would have missed, and so many laughs I would not have had, if i were an uber control freak like my friend is.

I love freewill. It always makes the game more exciting. But I hate when married couples divorce 🙁

I feel bad for those control freak type simmers. The Sims thrive on spontaneity, & when you play against that you don’t enjoy the game as much. Great read by the way! 😉
