I am way more excited about ITF than I Was when I first saw it.
Now the choices are more complete, to be able to create most environmental scenarios for Sims. From dark despair to bright shiny happy…but it took so many years!

When they release new expansion packs they are a experiment to see how the customer reacts. Not to say ITF is going to do bad but if the sales are mediocre then we may not see a similar reincarnation again in any form..

What cat said is there not as much of a hype which makes perfect sense considering several factors. ITF contains a theme that is far less appealing to the majority than say a expansion like IP. That is not to say ITF is going to be horrible but IP generated quite the buzz. I also believe that with the release of Sims 4 news that some people may have decided to just skip it in leu of Sims 4.
