Having to make their employees skip out on a decent Thanksgiving just to get an early lead on Black Friday is awful.

I’ve done all my Black Friday shopping on Amazon the past two years. 🙂

That s one of our rights and I’m on a touchscreen phone so ignore grammer and spelling.

The Stein Household is the one that is taking the vacation but my Simself and his family is celebrating at home.

With resorts and houseboats now we have another avenue for our sims celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas. I’ll give some examples especially with resorts.

Some of our sims who don’t have a level 10 cooking skill can’t cook a turkey though you could just have them get a buffet at home which generally comes with turkey however with resorts why not send them out for vacation or staycation have them stay the night there and eat at the buffet at the resort?

We have the ability to add what the resort serves and one of those items is turkey and we can even set the food quality. Meaning of the story The Carter Household decided to take a staycation at a resort in their town and have Thanksgiving there. We can even decorate the place that serves the food with the harvest stuff.

Another possibity is houseboats say your sim for example is on a tropical vacation at Thanksgiving they can take it on their houseboat in Isla Paaradiso. The skies the limit with our storytelling.

I’m planning on one of my families to celebrate Thanksgiving at the luxery resort in Isla Paradiso. I’m even going to decorate it.

Wish we did have a holiday like Thanksgiving in the UK 😀

Oh and yes, America is great I’ve visited and I’m desperate to go back. Europe is very compact, last summer I visited numerous countries like France, Germany and Italy within a few days. But don’t worry comments like deedee’s I don’t take seriously 😉

Working together in the kitchen to create meal masterpieces swapping recipes. Then getting to eat from a large selection of food that rivals a buffet to the point where you are going to pop. It finally ends with everyone gathered around each other with bulging tummies to spend the rest of the evening having fun whether it be playing cards, board games etc. Each family has their own spin.

It is a time for families who are spread apart by distance to get together and eat special foods to the point of being sick lol. Things that are not normally eaten like turkey and pumpkin pie. It is a time to celebrate for the things we are thankful for. For many families like myself we can not afford extravagant meals (which I am not complaining) but Thanksgiving is the one time people can have a extravagant meal. For it will not waste due to the amount of people and also other people are pitching in financially.
