Crowd funding is becoming more popular because it gives people with a special interest in a product or project an opportunity to make it happen, especially when it’s unlikely to go forward through standard business channels.

What’s also great is that for people who aren’t interested, the time and money involved aren’t at a significant cost.

They are wanting funding . In other words they want people to give them money which means its a moneymaking con .

It is and amazing idea, but i don’t think it will fit with the sims 3, i dont want a badge for buying a pizza in game :3, but i think it can be cool for xbox players! 🙂

A system like this is probably not going to satisfy the average player, but is a collector’s dream. May not please all, but will please plenty. 🙂

So to clarify, any achievement icon can be turned into a real-life badge? If so, I think that’s a terrible waste of time and money. I don’t care to show off a badge letting the world know I killed a troll with my bare fists or whatever.
