No way, I’m so glad there won’t be CASt! It took so long to load, and I’m so ridiculously obsessed with making everything match that an practically endless selection really dulled down TS3 for me. It was even annoying to accidentally click it (since I tried to avoid it, for reason stated), because it took so long to load. And I really feel it gave creators reason to get a little complacent.

So, for TS4! I hope CC will be easier to produce, download, and install, because TS has always been a little eh with their CAS content, and tbh a lot of the furniture for TS3 was like… uh, what are you doing? Too many odd themes. :/ CASt was just too overwhelming, for systems and me personally, lol. If things are too ugly, though, hopefully they won’t make CC too difficult to add, so we could just make recolors like with TS2 and such. :3

I am really dissapointed that there will be no CAStyle in TS4..It’s what I love about TS3 and a Tool that I need to play the game, I am a builder and decorater,so..it will be a SAD day if there are only 4-6 colours to choose from..I’ll wait a while before I buy TS4, to read what other players think about it and their comments about no CAStyle. 🙁

You’re comparing TS3 end of cycle with gazillions of EP/SP/Store content and CC with a game still in development? Seriously?

Personally I fear the TS4 “catalog” with different emotions for each recolor option is going to be a nightmare once the first Store items appear, unless it has an index or a way to search for specific content *in game*. I’m not holding my breath for this, though.

Just see how messy the collection system is. And this is how items are going to be sorted in TS4. Yikes!

So you don’t want matching colors at all anymore, then? Why didn’t you just …. you know … ignore that CASt was in the game and not bother with it, if you hated spending 2 hours with it. That’s a very weird thing to say. No one was forcing you to spend 2 hours matching furniture.

the sims medieval would have it because its made in the same style as the sims 3 just like casaway was made in the same style of the sims 2. it may not be the exact same but its the same style.
