Why are people so impatient for info about The Sims 4?

The game won’t be out till sometime between September 2014-December 2014 which is still a very long way off

Well technically, a Mac is a PC. But aside from that, the reason they’re saying they’re focusing on PC for now is probably because they’re going to rewrite the game natively for Mac, like SimCity. But that doesn’t change the fact that it was one of the very first things they said about the game, and they said it several times; “The Sims 4: coming to PC and Mac in 2014”.

Yup ea logic. Promote 10 year old game that is no longer available (nor playable) for the sake of nostalgia, which will in turn raise the amount of preorders for a new game that is completely unrelated that fans know close to nothing about, but will have to buy because the features are far superior to the game they chose to show off! Great marketing strategy!

That would be awesome, but this will probably just be them playing the game. It would be something if the game didn’t work on their machine, but I’m sure they have this whole thing all ready to go.

Does anyone think this is ploy. Like, there’re advertising a Live Broadcast for a Sims 1 game, which makes no sense, unless there rereleasing it on Origin or something, which is unlikely. Then there going to have “Technical difficulties” working the Sims Making Magic, and then they’ll release Sims 4 information. I think that is more likely then them playing a Sims 1 game, to be honest, and if they where doing it to celebrate the Sims 14th birthday, wouldn’t they have done it on the birthday,and not a good 2 or 3 weeks after. Think about it, this would not be the first time The Sims Team tricked us.

Actually, It say’s no where she your purchasing it, that it’s playable on MAC. they just say PC. That’s why haven’t pre-ordered it yet, I even tweeted SimGuruGram and he said they where concentrating on the PC, and said it’s not for MAC yet.
