Like I said on the official forums, GDC is not aimed at consumers, it’s aimed at developers, who often work for companies, like EA, that could happily use $500 as toilet paper. This isn’t supposed to be for the fans; EA aren’t charging for new info, GDC are charging for presentations about video game programming.
