Yes some things have been taken out but Sims 4 will have plenty of things that Sims 3 didn’t have in the basegame either as well as many features that Sims 3 never had at all. As a builder I am looking forward to playing with circular building shapes and redesigned roofs, being able to shift windows up and down, etc. Also, as a person who has primarily played the same household of 2 young adults throughout the years I truly don’t give a toss about the lack of toddlers in the basegame.

I find your immature hypocrisy quite sad. You instantly go on the defensive and kick up a stink when someone tells you to tone down the complaining because “they won’t understand as they don’t play the game the same way you do”, and yet if they DARE to look forward to the game without X Y and Z because those things have no impact on their overall enjoyment of the game, they’re suddenly stupid and gullible.

Here’s a funny fact, I pre-ordered LE Sims 4 from Tesco many months ago and it cost me £20 thanks to the sale/promo/loyalty point combination, that is less than what I spent on regular Sims 3 basegame in 2009. But thank you for your attempt at analyzing my life and how I spend my money.

From the nasty behavior I’ve seen here, on the forums, on tumblr and on reddit it would appear that those who complain how “omg Sims 4 sux” are the children in this situation. Most of such posts are unconstructive, misinformed, and veiled with attacks on those who want to give the new game a go, and you’re right up there with them.

It is truly not that hard to express your point of view on anything without putting someone down in the process. You should really give it a go.
