I disagree with the whole “only people with money will be buying Sims 4” notion, but I agree with the 2nd part of your post wholeheartedly.

How many more posts do we need where people tell us just how much they’re disappointed with the game and won’t be buying it? We get it, you won’t be buying it, you can stop wasting your breath. When I don’t like a game, or a game doesn’t interest me, or it’s too expensive, I don’t purchase and forget all about it. I don’t spend months cluttering the Internet with my daily TL;DR “why dis game sux” essays.

We already know that there are a lot more clothing items and hair styles than in any other base game, because we’ve seen it. I guess the same goes for furniture, considering how many different styles of furniture we’ve seen so far. We also know that there are a lot more animations now. The A.I. has improved, CAS has improved, Build/Buy has improved. We’re getting careers with multiple branches that offer different gameplay and lots of rewards. This is only a part of the things we know so far and I doubt that we know everything about the game at this point.
You might not like the cuts they’ve made (even though I’m surprised anyone would consider removing rabbit holes as a cut), but with the information we have right now, they do have the right to make that statement!

I really wasn’t going to buy the game after the confirmation that there will not be toddlers and pools in the base game, but heck a discount like this is not something you see all the time.
Chances are that they will add those contents in a expansion pack, similar to the Generation one. I just pre-ordered it, and saved 20$ for the Premium edition :D, original price was 80$ bought it for 59,99 with 2 day shipping (recieving it the day it launches in the market Sept 2nd.)

honestly 3 cents doesnt matter preorders change by a few cents threw out the preorder time and if you have already preordered you will get to keep the lowest price it gets down to
