Have to agree with you there, Atlantis and pianoluv. For me, the biggest reason why I trust in Sims 4 being a great game is the fact that I trust the developers. If they would not mean it and if it wasn’t true, they wouldn’t say things like ‘The game is fantastic.’ and ‘It’s the biggest basegame the Sims ever had.’ Of course they want to promote the game, even if they are not paid for doing so, but these are pretty big things to say. They wouldn’t have to make statements that big if they wouldn’t mean them.
Now, if those were statements made by Ryan, i’d not trust them. But as those are words used by people like Grant, Graham, Sarah and Lyndsay, who have never given me any reason to not trust them and who are not constantly “so excited” and “having a blast”, I will believe it without any second thoughts. They are fans just like us. But they are also developers. They will have made all the right decisions, even if we may not fully understand them.

To me personally, Sims 4 looks to be a disappointment. With the lack of certain gameplay options (e.g. Toddlers, pools, no CASt, no story progression, no cars? Someone correct me if I’m wrong) this game has really turned me off from buying. I also don’t like the look of the graphics of the game. It’s like a console/online game graphics look to it.

Nevertheless, even though I don’t personally like Sims 4 I’m happy for those who do like the look of the game. We each have our own opinions of things and frankly, fighting over a game when there are so many other major problems going on in the world right now is just…I don’t know, ridiculous? I don’t know if I’m saying this the right way. Haha 🙂

But anyway, even though I don’t plan on buying Sims 4 I do look forward to seeing reviews of it once it comes out. Along with everybody else’s reactions to the game 🙂

pianoluv: Yes, that’s how I feel too! I like all the SimGurus and trust that the TS4 developing team is doing their best. I think they are also the fans of the game.
My opinion is that the base game has enough good features. I can wait for toddlers and pools to be put in a new EP if they are with more interactions. I don’t like half-made things and I prefer if EA team has more time to work on them.

yes those are “child” sized sims so that means that dollhouse is as tall or taller than an adult sim. I remember having a custom made dollhouse as a girl that was close to this size…..

I’m not quite sure why anyone would be saddened that other people don’t like the game. Not everyone likes or dislikes the same things. If you think you will enjoy playing it, buy it. Why worry about if other people like it or not?
