I don’t know if anyone remembers, but there were complaints about the Sims 3 base game as well. There were no spas, and people were up in arms about it. In Sims 2, cars weren’t added until Nightlife, and the Young Adult life stage wasn’t added until University. Base games are never 100% complete. I would rather they spend time on these things and get them right in an expansion pack or patch, then to get a half baked effort in the base game. I am looking forward to investigating all that Sims 4 has to offer me.

Who said they are confined to cribs? Everyone keeps saying that but I HIGHLY doubt it since I have seen pictures of them out of the crib alot.

Well, depends where you buy it. There are sites wich have worldwide cd-keys wich gives you the game 24 hours before the american release. So I will be playing it the 1st and i’m from Europe. (cjs-cdkeys.com reduced price)

I agree. I don’t go on the forums anymore because of the negativity. None of us have even played the game, we don’t have a clue, so why be negative. It looks to me like EA took Sims 2 and Sims 3 and mixed them together to make, like you said, what they wanted Sims 3 to be. I can’t wait for Sims 4. Hope you have a Sim-ply wonderful birthday. 🙂

Loving all the positive comments for a change. So sad that we will be the last to play the new Sims 4 (5th Sept. GB) but taking time off to play should make up for it.

They aren’t. They’re confined to their cribs. Can’t walk away with them or anything like that. I’m hoping that’s cuz of time restraints and they’ll add on to it later, though.

Yes in many facets they did improve build mode and I recognize that but in many ways it is constrained. For example the foundations one no longer can paint and are confined to a set of predetermined patterns and textures. So do you want your foundation to blend seamlessly into the walls above to bad. Want to mold a building and do various things like create L shaped stairs to bad. No Cast, no terraforming, no ponds, only three levels, and smaller lot sizes. That is not to say I am hating though. What they did with the build mode IS AMAZING and I recognize in the future that some of these things could be added later.
