Why do all of the sims have either a red, dark orange, or yellow plumbob over each of their heads? Is it hard to satisfy their needs?

That bothers me too, but not as much as the angle of the indoor stairs. They’re way too steep for me.

I had that same question. But when I noticed that the active sim (mom) had several need failure moodlets it hit me that those bars are probably additional moodlets and the color of the bar is the emotion that the moodlet is linked to and it has nothing to do with the child. This is an educated guess but I think I’m right.

its saves like sims 3 and you can change familes via manange town
mode
there is an auto save mode so u shoulnt loose any progress you can use auto save and maual save at the same time and go back to your maunal saue at any time

im kinda confused with the saving system, is it like the sims 3 where u can make different saved games but in those games u can easily changing households and play whatever family do you want or just like the sims 2 where the games is saved as one like whatever family you play is on the one game and family story is kinda weird. do you understand what i mean? 🙁

You can modify and play on any of the lots you want. You can take control of any family in town, in any neighborhood, and evict em or tear down or replace their house… no restrictions on that. Plus the FreeRealEstate and Motherlode cheats are back so no money issues with moving in where you want 😉

Can only control one household at a time of course, but switching should be much easier than in TS3, because without story progression there’s no danger of things changing on you, and you can even turn of aging in non-active families if you want a TS2-style rotation.
