I’m aseeing how the emotions aspect of the game changes things. I really hope it’s not like the traits in TS3. But I’m seeing hope that it’s not. Excitement uncontained!!!

Sims3 felt too much like easy mode to me. I should not be able to build a mansion in 1 generation without cheats. Yet, I can with minimal effort if I utilize everything that’s available in game (…or less since the lottery is so easy to win. eg have 1 witch sim, a dog, a resort).

This has been the most useful review to me so far. Legacies are what I love to play, and seeing it from my (or as close to mine as I can get right now) point of view is fantastic.
He talked about things I wanted to know about. He glossed over things I didn’t care about. This review made me feel good about the game…
even though I think I will be cancelling my preorder and waiting for their ‘generations’ style expansion. I need my little ones and the baby items are not going to cut it. I think I will love it when I get it, I just think I will get board too quickly without proper families.

Agree! Sims 3 game play was so boring I could never stick with it long enough to finish a legacy.

The only thing that “concerns” me after looking at all the information is the low number of residential lots (even with the ease of switching between the two worlds included). I realize I can get rid of some of the families already living in the world but I hate doing that, I’d rather have more room to add households to the world. I’m not really sure why they chose to limit the residential lots but I really hope they come out with some worlds with way more residential lots quickly.

This has more so excited for TS4. I think I’m going to attempt the legacy challenge. I’ve yet to successfully complete any challenge. I also think the blog was so well written. Captivated and “inspired” me

I never really tried legacies in the sims 2 but in the sims 3 it felt blah to me HOWEVER i can see the sims 4 actually making it fun theres real gameplay yay.

personal time line:
in 24 days – clean house spotless go to bed early after getting the coffee pot pre setup
in 25 day – pop out of bed grab a cup of coffee and snacks and settle in for a good gaming session….small breaks to let the dog out lol
