Why is this RandomOne allowed to make his opinion on a game he has never played sound like a general fact, when I’m not even allowed to tell him that he should take his own advice and wait until the game is released? I’ve got the same rights to do that as you and everyone else.
If you are so annoyed by my comments, I’d suggest just skipping them and not reading what I have to say! I do have an Avatar. Should be pretty easy to tell what comments I’ve written.

Of course, I sit there and tweak them so every one looks different. That’s probably why my family library is huge. (But then, so’s my house library, for that matter.) They’re only clones if I actually use the machine to make a clone of an existing Sim.

Sims in Sims 3 are so lifeless and are clones of each other. I was rather blown away by the CAS upon playing it despite having it shoved down my throat repeatdly. With the very limited CAS items (say compared to Sims 3 plus EPs) Sims still come out unique most of the time. Furthermore while I have no talent at CAS I am blown away by the creations people are making. It showcases how truly versatile CAS is. A great example of this is a Sim I saw on the gallery. It was Nicki Minaj and it looked exactly like her. It was not a close appearance, no it was dead on and it amazed me for previously one was not able to sculpt with such precision.

There are people who aren’t excited for the game. Get over it. Stop trying to change everyone’s opinions. You think the game is great. Perfect. Other people don’t. Just stop.

In my case, I get bored very often. Sims 2, Sims 3, I don’t care. After a few weeks playing with the same family I just stop until the next ep. Right now I’m playing the Ultimate Collection until this one comes out.

And I love the demo, but I find myself creating the same sims over and over again. Maybe not exactly the same, but they look quite similar.

The Sims have always been that way. If a person is easily bored, it doesn’t matter how great the game is, they will be bored. That word doesn’t exist in my vocabulary; never has. (Bored, I mean). Likewise, through 14 years of playing Sims, I have never one been bored – and since I don’t like camping on vacation, I have never gone more than a few days without playing The Sims – lol

I for one, being someone who spends most of his time in CAS, have played the demo for more than 40 hours now, created dozens of households and am still not done with my ideas. And I’ve not even got to create children, teenagers and elders yet!
You may speak for those who actually think that way but don’t make it a general statement! Right now, most of the people who have actually gotten to play the game are very positive about it and liked it. I think that’s a pretty good sign for the game not being that bad, isn’t it?
