Well the Sim with the green plumbob is the Sim you are currently controlling (so no change there)
And I believe the Sims with the Clear plumbobs are the Sims your active Sim is interacting with. So once your Sims stops interacting with them, that Clear plumbob would go away.

Yeah, in TS2 during a fire, I kept telling my sim to call the fire department but she kept cancelling it and screaming at it. My whole sim-family died because of this once. 😉

Given how poorly much of TS3 was done complaining about minor sim clipping that solves routing issues comes across as nit picking to me. Yes, it’s not perfect, but given the options it’s a reasonable workaround.
