You can download a really cool hospital called willow creek hospital and then everything works fine.. So i think its because of your game, who knows?

The science lab seems the safest to edit since, at least as far as I’ve seen, it doesn’t require you to move other Sims around. The hospital seems like it could work alright although I haven’t tried it recently but it seems like the police station is the worst of them. I tried two different stations and there was ALWAYS a hang up either moving prisoners out of cells to be processed or not being able to work on a computer. Maybe its finally fixed now.

You can edit using bb.enablefreebuild cheat, but I do not recommend it. I spent about 5 hours editing my station to perfection just to find out that I can’t use the building anymore because of glitches. If you do, do not delete any the crim map, the computers (I don’t recommend adding additional computers), the interogation table, the booking station, or the receptionist desk. Only use the default colors for these as well. I hope this helps.

You have to go to the park in the dinosaur world (I’ve forgotten it’s name) and go to the far right hand corner and there should be a boarded up mine shaft. You need a sims with lvl 10 Handiness to open the passage. Then you need to do a trial and error until you get to the Glades. You can bring any sim in your house with you once you’re there. Then you can explore and just click on the mineshaft to get back home.

You can’t. You just need to keep your sim going to work there to use it. Sorry, I know it’s very annoying.

i regret changing my polie station somtimes things dont work so i reccomend you dont mess with the game
