Hm, I think we would see a lot more bugs with every patch then. If they were to do an update every single time they fix something, they’d end up with a lot of incompatibilities with fixes that were being worked on at the same time.
And I somehow imagine modders would just quit at some point if they’d have to check all their mods once a week… 😛

daily updates from Origin, wondered what was going on my self , also worried about those darn hack attempts that Microsoft had dealt with .

Hi. I got the very same problem some weeks ago. I’ve reinstalled origin and it worked 😀 Reinstalling origin doesn’t touch your games. I think its the only solution

Thanks Babbling B, I know how Origin works but like the others wrote, this update after update for several days was different and made us wonder if something was up. Like a computer malfunction. 🙂

Depends. If you’re getting updates every single time you open Origin (assuming you open it at least once a day), you’re encountering a bug some people have had for a while now. But the occasional updates Origin rolls out every two weeks or so are mostly just fixes. Steam does it a bit differently in that they collect many fixes for a longer time period and then send out one big update while Origin just updates every time a fix for a problem is available.
