I thought it was the amount of expansions too – so I experimented (I’m a bit a-retentive with figuring things out 🙂 ). So when I reinstalled the sims I first installed ITF alone, no other EP’s – this resulted in the same issues as I’ve had before. I went through the same process with Island Paradise too as it gives me grief – and it also causes crashes, freezes and lags (even when I followed all the tips to prevent them). When I have those two installed together, my game is all but unplayable! So, in the interest of still being able to play Sims 3, I’ve sacrificed those two EP’s. Better than not playing it at all! And best of all, now that I’ve removed those (and the bulk of my Store Stuff) I can use CAW again! That makes me a happy bunny 🙂

Freezes and crashes are pretty typical for Sims 3 once you’ve got more expansions installed than your computer can handle. So it could actually be that every removed expansion would fix those problems for you. But then again, it might as well be ITF. They didn’t really bother putting much effort into fixing the expansion, due to it being the last one.

I have done – I also reinstalled all games and EP’s recently – it still causes freezes/crashes/bugs. It’s clear that this EP causes the problems because they disappear when I remove it, reappear when I install it.

You need to download the last patch in order to update your game and get rid of the bugs.

It’s full of bugs and causes all sorts of crashes in game http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/719217.page
I eventually had to uninstall it to be able to play sims 3

I do hope Origin comes with a sale soon, do they announce those sales or is it out of the blue? Want to get the rest of the expansion packs :D!
