They’re actually considering bringing toddlers back in a Generations expansion, actually. It’s been included in a recent EP survey, along with a pre-teen life stage. Given everyone wants toddlers back I assume that pack will go ahead eventually too.

But it’s hard to tell the chicken from the egg in that equation. People play adults (and more accurately, young adults) because they have more content & options.

It’s complicated for sure, and I often get that I reaction. But I agree, it’s difficult to let go. This being said, “death by [anything else than old age]” is part of the game’s antics, so death by old age should not be much sadder than the other deaths, that are made funny. Maybe if the conceptors thought about that, maybe added a few things from the Grim Reaper, it’d be easier. Also, I think inheritance helped sometimes in The Sims 2 XD “Aw, she’s dead… BUT, now I can build that second pool”.

Oh don’t make me start on this, I had a whole infuriated Twitter rant about the possibilities in The Sims 4 the other day XD (https://twitter.com/ladyteruki/status/628491328742105088)
I think the game would have to acknowledge “death by old age” more than it does now to really take advantage of this lifestage, but it’s possible. Plus, I think expanding the elders so that they’re closer to young lifestages would probably be perfect considering we have no nannies at the moment. They could have more activities tied to kids & teens, that only these lifestages would share because YA & A are presumably too busy.

taco casserole and fish tacos and chips and salsa!! lol I know that’s not what you mean, I’m just being a butt. I agree though — I need some enchiladas and pollo fundido in my Sims’ life!! They should get to enjoy the deliciousness that I do!

A variety of ethnic food–Mexican, Indian, Middle Eastern (shawarma back, please!), Chinese, Korean, Japanese…would be nice to have.
