Totally agree with everything you said, I have a decent computer (low end graphics card) but, Sims3 was too much for it after all the packs etc.. I still didn’t have them all and can imagine how bad it would have been for my computer. I just wish for weather and the stairs really lol.. spiral stairs because I spend most of my time in build mode, and seasons.. because I loved the rain and snow..I love to garden soo rain helps lol 😛 i liked supernatural but, hated the zombies eating my plants lol

Multiple factors, I’d say. For one, they are a new type of pack that some players just won’t trust yet. Then, buying them means spending a lot more money a lot more regularly, so players with limited income or those who are too young to buy them themselves will likely prioritise the expansions. And they are only available online until they are bundled up at some point, so players who aren’t active online may not know about them or have no way of buying them.
I assume this will be a lot different if they keep the concept for the next main Sims title.

I agree, I thought seasons should have been of the first things out, not in basegame, but still one of the first gamepacks or expansions (probably more a gamepack with sims 4 dlc style) since it was one of the last things we got in sims 3, and we asked for it. Yeah I like Pets, but in order of what I want from the sims 3 it goes, Supernatural, Seasons, and Showtime. I’m glad we basically got genealogy for free, but would love toddlers, I almost think if they do toddlers, it should be for free, since its something lots of people complained about, and that would prob appease the diehards who think playing buggy laggy sims 3 is still cool.

I’m actually surprised they don’t sell as well, I can see why the stuff packs don’t, but at least the game packs usually add new worlds/gameplay in some form.

I never said the items weren’t good. I just said that they didn’t seem to make a cohesive theme. When I think of film nights and movies I do not think of boho themed furniture.
This pack clearly has a central theme that hangs together well.
If you like that or not is a different matter, as I personally, like the idea of this pack much more than Movie Hangout Stuff.

The bedroom and bathroom stuff packs sound nice but I feel a patch should add more beds and spiralcase stairs
