I understand what you mean. The thing is, and I won’t go too much into detail on this, but appearances are a subjective concept. It’s a cultural thing and The Sims actually tends to a huge variety of cultures, so it really is up to the player to decide what looks good on men, what looks good on women and what looks good on both, cause we all come from different backgrounds. Because of that, there’s an array of CAS items I don’t like, but other people do, but I don’t mind cause it’s only a matter of not using this content =) I’m sorry if it’s frustating for you to have to use the mirror and change their looks, but this is something a lot of us, myself included, tend to do while playing the game for the fun of getting to pick their looks =)

Ya see no because when they age from kids to teens or babies to children they look like the opposite gender and then I wonder if I named them wrong until I have to change everything in the darn mirror. So What I want is a button that says Girls look like girls and boys look like boys with the option of after changing them to transgendered.

Hey, Sarah! That problem has the easiest solution: Just don’t use it in your game =) I’m personally glad we’re getting more variety, cause I can see how much more open our options will be now. But if you don’t like it, all you have to do is keep playing like you always have and nothing will change for you =)

I can understand how you feel you want your sims to look a certain way however with kids it’s all randomly generated. Some hairs are already gender neutral but not all hairs and clothes are. I feel you though. Thankfully for you, you can always change how they look afterwards.

Then explain why my babies that turn into kids look like opposite genders? i have boys with long staright hair(Sims hair no CC) and Girls with spikey boy hairdos (again no CC) that drives me mad! I want my boys to look like boys and my girls like girls.
