To be perfectly blunt EA is really starting to piss me off, I believe they can be this devious and are behind it and are acting ignorant. This is the same company that threatened us with not making a Sims 5 if we don’t buy Sims 4, pretty much, not said in those terms, but it is taken as what they meant. They have recently been voted again as the worst company, something which they got voted in before for many years. Not cool EA. and all these crap content that we really don’t want, though Dine Out looks good, we got some half done Kitchen Stuff pack that had only one design, where we had Kitchen & Bath in TS2 that had 3 designs for each room. They are basically milking us for our money.

Just because they didn’t formally post the information doesn’t mean they didn’t break an NDA. Telling a friend information that they shouldn’t have could have been the leak. And maybe the sim tweeted a guru for confirmation.
Posting information that already out there isn’t leaking information. The original poster of the information is the only one who would be in trouble.
Either way, we don’t know enough information and I’m sure we never will. I just don’t believe EA would have done this for no reason.

No doubt. I mean the last thing they released was Romantic Garden stuff and the best I could do with that was remodel my wedding venue. They’ve had 2 crappy patches and that’s it. I was used to having something always coming out. It’s not like there’s much content to work with already so this drought has just made me not even turn the game on. Even my kids are bored with this game right now.

like they said you dont know what has gone on behind closed doors, neither EA nor SimsFans is required to tell readers that they were warned (if they were) and i doubt if they were they would go talk about how “i broke the rules and was recieved this warning” that doesnt make them look good at all. (the site NOT EA).

just because you didnt notice it was a leak doesnt mean there wasnt one things as simple as a picture at an event could be against the agreement. you see the content you dont usually see the actual agreement for said content to be posted.

I think the issue is that SimsFans believes they DIDN’T break the contract but EA believes they did. EA squandered the goodwill of the fans, so it’s no surprise to me that no one’s siding with them.
