It doesn’t take long for Festivals filled with base game activities dressed up like new and a couple (literally) of street performers to lose their shiny newness.

I’m sort of at the point where it’s nice to have new stuff integrated (sort of) into the game but the sense of wonder wore off quickly.

Yeah now and then when I’ve been listing reasons why people will still buy this pack, I usually forget the main one I’ve been saying already back at the time of leaks. It’s been one year, some of you will simply desperately need this addition since something is better than nothing. But good that you at least realize it, I ain’t even mad now. Hope at least it brings slightly better gameplay for you.

I know that pain. Watching Andrew’s play-through of it and all the pictures of the game makes me want to play it even more, but I can’t. And I know I’m going to be too busy over Thanksgiving break to fully enjoy it. Ugh, I want this semester to end. Where are you, Winter Break?

The beautiful build buy stuff is the main reason I will get this pack eventually. Right now though I’m too broke and can’t justify buying it at full price. I probably would if I had the money though, and then I too would be a part of the problem.

I haven’t purchased it yet and I will def wait for discounts this time around but I totally understand where you’re coming from. I’ve ALWAYS purchased the Sims games at release, even all the previous Sims 4 packs and stuff. With Sims 4 though, it wasn’t out of excitement, just that I was so desperate for something new! And then I’d play the new content a couple of times and not touch the games for a couple months or until the next pack comes out. Sigh, I want the new content from City Living but I’m not even feeling that desperate anymore 🙁

You can work from home in politics too. My sim had to go protest somewhere and then joke about politicians…which is kind of awkward as that’s his goal 😐
