I guess so. But they fixed the club system just yesterday. Haven’t tested it yet though

I agree that I’d like to see these things already in the game. By no means am I making an excuse for the team.

I will say that mods are becoming increasingly popular in more games than just The Sims. It’s a custom way to make games work to your specific preferences and increase community involvement.

Unfortunately, as you stated, mods are able to be broken easier in patches. In fact, that’s one reason I look forward to the end of The Sims 4 development life so I can finally just fill it all up with the mods I want without concern.

I’m definitely hopeful for that. They already have the basic functions. Or else NPC’s wouldn’t even move on their own on lots. I at least want an NPC roommate that will do things on their own like leave the lot and get work, form relationships, etc.Ideally there’d be unique interactions based on traits and moods like complaining about their messes or playing music all night.(I’d honestly just love that to be added to sims in general. They really never have relationship problems.)

don’t use mods and also agree with some simmers below. The simmers in the modding community are tremendously freaking awesome! I love gawking at all the CC and mods people can create with this game. I do not add mods because every patch and update changes things sometimes making mods and CC unusable. But it seems so odd to me when the people who created the game and have the skills to add features say things like “should be easy to mod…”. Ummmm if that’s the case put it in the game ?

I definitely agree that it should be patched in. There seems to be a lack of communication at Maxis, the same coding that was used to give us butlers could’ve been used to implement a real roommate system
