Sometimes the survey items are early iterations, and the final result winds up being different (or rolled into other content) but from what I’ve researched it’s pretty valuable insight into development and future content.

And the so called “milking” is nothing compared to Sims 3 with their store. The Sims is a frightfully expensive production to put on. Think of all the voice actors, the fashion designers, the customs music stations, the thousands of animations etc. No other game has so much or cost so much, not Battlefield, Civ 6, Uncharted 4, etc.
