I was expecting the bowling to at least be better. Letting groups play against each other, letting sims bowl spares…. to me this isn’t too much to ask for from a BOWLING PACK.

So I just bought this pack and wow… I have to say I’m disappointed. The main draw, the bowling, is extremely boring. The fact sims can only bowl a lane once, is really stupid. They really couldn’t just leave the pins up for a second chance? I honestly don’t understand why they did this…. I don’t even think it would’ve been hard for them to do, am I wrong about this? Would that have been too hard to code for?
And everything else about the pack is just meh. The CAS doesn’t really interests me and the furniture is just ok. I mean, it’s good for a bowling alley I guess. I also thought this would be a good pack to have another arcade machine. It would’ve been a nice second premium object. Anyways, have to agree with his review.

Well I also have Sims do yoga and nude meditation on public spaces as well. Even in residential neighborhoods where I can find a nice quiet place and just look at the sunset (well depending on the time of day anyway)

the thing that makes me most mad about the sims 4 going down the toilet isn’t even my own disappointment—it’s how obviously this turn of events has crushed CLINT. it’s the disappointment for the long-term fans. i picked up ts3 for five bucks in 2014. i’m frustrated, but i’m not *hurt.* i feel for the long-term fans who are honestly straight-up wounded by these past 2 years.

I fear that all of those items will be in seperate pavks and we will have to buy them all just for one sport. Ie city living gave us basket ball.

Huh I see…Well where I live bowling alleys are usually “merged” with coffee shops if that makes sense. I’ve never seen a single arcade machine in a bowling alley that I ever visited so I guess that’s why I find it odd.
I still have some hope in me for the game though, after seeing what they did with toddlers. I think there is the potential to make the game much more enjoyable, they just need to find how to do it.

I feel Stuff Packs started meh then they got some decent and juicy stuff like Romantic Garden or Kids Stuff and now they’re back to meh again.

I stopped going to official forums for a few months, but then when I’m dumb enough to try again, same crud all over again.

Worst part is? (to me anyway), is that some of the ones that claim to love the game, have the nerve to straight out say to go away/leave the forums if you post negative anything about Sims 4. They think if you aren’t commenting all love & joy, that you don’t belong there. And not only was what a lot of what they post against the EA TOS/forum rules, but they NEVER EVER get in trouble for it! :/

(I’m not making this up, I even have some screenshots to prove it. But it seems some people there get a free pass to do whatever they want. You can bet if I posted some of the stuff I’ve seen, I’d have been banned long ago. )

But whatever. They can keep pretending anyone cares what they think, because I rather play my games, read, enjoy movies or Netflix, goof off & amuse my family, etc., than waste time acting like them. I have more games,books, & movies than I have time to finish anyway.

It’s actually pretty sad to see how some people act towards others that don’t agree with them.
I’ve had some give me a hard time on this site, esp right before Sims 4 came out, but nowhere as bad as the way things get on official forums. *sighs*

As far as the LGR videos, I watch them for the humor. He’s funny, and I like the videos. And if any of the ones that insulted him ever actually WATCHED his videos, they’d hear, and see, that he explains why he doesn’t like something, and still points out things he does like about it.
Also, I can make up my own mind without validation of others, so I don’t watch reviews, usually. (Maybe to see the items, or for amusement, occasionally.)

I’ve been coming to this site since it first opened, and it’s a lot more pleasant & fun, than the official site. It shouldn’t have to be thought of that way, (it’s a game, sheeh, they should all be fun to visit), but to me, that’s how it is.

Oh my goodness! I never even considered these options! I am only now getting into creating artsy sims that paint and such. They are super fun to play with. Anymore recommendations on using the world? I love what you wrote above! I even wrote some of it down ^_^ I’m actually recording the new Bowling Stuff Pack review this evening so I’m going to keep these ideas in mind when I actually go to PLAY after the build/buy review 🙂
