I know they’re two different things. As someone who is not a hipster but finds the hipster aesthetic nonetheless appealing while finding the hippie aesthetic decidedly cringe-inducing, this definitely looks hipster not hippie to me; not enough painfully bright and ill-matching pastels and primaries for the hippie look… 😉

No worries, we all have different tastes and associate things with different people. I actually used to love the sleek modern look as well, but my tastes have changed over the past few years. 🙂

Well I hope that this pack will come with two sets of washers and dryers cuz some People make modern builds and it would be nice to have New and clean looking washers and dryers, and for a more run down rustic look like in Style B, washers and dryers that match that style also, I’d be kinda sad to see style B win and we only get low class locking washers and dryers that won’t go well with other build styles

First of all, thanks you to share your oppinion. Secondly I do not follow any fashion for several reason and they can’t influence me. So I do not know the root of hipster (to be honest it is always hard to find the real root of anything since these things, words, “labels” went through so much brain association during their word-life), where it came from, how it turned into this fashion which labelled with the hipster name. Style B room I have seen so far just in (country) grandmas houses, and in old peoples houses. They did not have many money to afford to them to follow any fashion. They was happy to have a table where they could eat or any cloth they could wear. They did not look if it fits the shirt with the skirt or the table with the stool. If it was clean and had ironed out shirt/skirt with no holes on it, it was the best they could get/wear (if they could not sew/knitt, etc). The clothes had covered their bodies and kept it warm. Since the main purpose for the cloth is that. And the furniture and stuff in their home served them in many ways too. That why i said Country Grandma style for that interior, because I have seen so far just there, so my brain associated on that example.
When You said hipster and shared your opinion I did google for Hipster interior. I was curious how is it looks like, so I did search on it. I don’t have many time to dig into it but as I have seen so far on pages, those samples was not the same in any way as on style B. And to be honest they was good looking interiors like any interior which pleased my sense.
This topic (the whole fashion, influences and identitiy and everything that comes up through our association) could be a very good subjects of a philosophical train of thought. But since my english is not my native language (so I have limits in vocabulary) and this forum is not for this purpose I would stop here. 🙂
And I said these all just as a soul would tell to an other soul with no harsh feeling. So please don’t misunderstand me. We are different and we have own association. Thank you. 🙂

I’m not terribly interested in “Eco Living,” but if we get style B I might get it just for the charming hipster vibe. If we get the bland impersonal look of style A, however…pass.
