This is was all in Sims 2 (Sims 1 was even more ridiculous). While sims have jobs and all (if you want to buy things without using cheats); but there is also so many silly and ridiculous things that would never happen in real life.Even when it comes to jobs and chances, you get some ridiculous choices.

Real life also doesn’t have vampires stalking your sim, witches, etc…

LOL since when was Spongebob relatable?

As for Sims 4, my sims are often angry or sad (I can see it in the way they walk, their expressions, actions, etc…), not really skipping with joy 24/7, they have different moods. Now the next pack is bring back groundings, giving time outs and setting curfews. Now that is actually relatable.

We get new things such as bringing back groundings and even giving curfews and time outs for the next pack and they are going to talk about punishments, we get new sims deaths and even vampires have to get negative traits if they want to reach the next level. I had seen my sims get angry, depressed, cry, fight/insult others at random, smash and kick things, etc… yet that is still not good enough. We get new things all the time. Even some lot traits that are negative (one trait increases the chances of sims getting sick after they eat, another is the filthy trait and often have to get rid of rats and roaches, etc…). My sims moods are always changing and not always happy.

Sure there can be improvements and all that (having sims arrested and adding burglars which isn’t impossible and could be added in the future. Now that they added toddlers into the game, they can focus on other things); but Sims 4 is going to be out for awhile still. Even with Sims 3, it took awhile before sims can do some things.

I even had sims fired from jobs), etc…they even said their will be punishments. Half of the time they are setting their house on fire from cooking. I had sims randomly fight or throw drinks, insult, etc….other sims that they didn’t like. How is that a happy Utopia?

I am sure they will add more and more things in the future as well. I do agree with burglars coming back though or have ways to get sims arrested, that will help my sims who are cops as well.

I am missing something? Than please clarify, as from what I read, they have do have negative consequences (time outs, groundings, etc….and breaking curfews they said can lead to negative consequences). It would be helpful if your response was a little less vague.

No real motive to raise your kids other than to play out your parenting fantasies and people always asked for a more grounded family play. Now we get it and there are people still saying “Now give us…”. I literally could care less if the Gurus gave us a stuff pack/game pack centered around eating salad. You can’t just keep complaining about stuff that you haven’t even bought. There are littlerly people who still complain about the Sims 4 and talk about how they still won’t buy it and will stick with Sims 3. What’s the point in even trying to voice an opinion on a game you don’t even have. They just want to hear their voice and be in the spotlight. Then there are people talking about packs they don’t own. Unless you bought the pack, researched it, understand everything in the game, then it turns out that they flat out lied about features and such. You should not complain what so ever. There is complaining and there is constructive criticism. One actually helps the gurus progress through development. When the Vampire pack was out, there was people who complained that they only wanted the Cas/Build buy objects and did not want to get it because Vampires was a thing. I admit that the slider or check box for not having Vampires could have been cool. But either way it is strictly for Vampires. People don’t understand that no matter what in life you will not be 100 percent satisfied. Hey if you do, that’s awesome, but don’t expect every pack/situation/decision/etc to be 100% what you want, nor should you expect it to be absolute crap. At best you should have hope and if that fails, graciously move on without causing a scene. There are so many people who talked about how Toddlers were never going to be a thing and how Sims 4 fails because of it yet when it was finally added some of the same people went to say “This still doesn’t save it…” Anyway I am done with my complaint.

I literally had it so bad that I had pimples on top of other pimples. And I can assure you, I was not happy about it.

Always have evidence to back up your claims lol but it’s true, it’s feeling more like a getaway game which is fine but it was marketed as the newest iteration to the sims franchise to have the most “feeling” sims. So yes, if my sims have acne I expect them to FEEL something. And I expect it to happen randomly. Just like it does in life.

However I’m facing the (oh look..) CONSEQUENCES FOR MY ACTIONS. Apparently these are unpopular opinions and I’m just being ridiculous by having them. u.u people these days.
