I wish EA would realize that not everyone wants to buy the games from Origin. I feel really bad about it. I bought most of my sims 3 packs from steam, thankfully.
Apparently a lot of people have had the same issue, even after they bought from origin itself.

He filed a dispute for me, and they emailed me basically that I had to re-buy the gamepacks if I wanted to play with them. And they closed the case. Maybe I need to have another Live Chat session 🙂

I advise you to contact them thru chat, it’s VERY effective. It can take hours but the good news is that if it fails you simply retry a couple of days later until you get someone who will finally help and fully solve the issue. Email aren’t enough, you need to reach someone real. See they don’t want anyone filling the report as ‘they didn’t help!’ so 75% of them are very compliant (and terrified of that bad report).
