I believe they do. They’re helpful towards modders with answering questions they have as long as it doesn’t break any rules set by EA. They also do talk about modders once in a while. As for the canning, it was an option simmers were able to vote for but it wasn’t as popular. Still a chance it will make a reappearance since it was popular for the votes and in sims 3.

I believe they do. The game itself is also rather easy to mod (though obviously some mods are very in depth such as the above) especially with so many talented people involved in the community that are willing to teach.
